Junior Graphic Designer (1 position)
Responsibilities
* Creating layouts design for customers upon request such as print ad, brochure, packaging, flyer, banner/bunting, poster, name cards, logos and other print pieces
* Review final artworks for errors before printing/production)
* Liaise and coordinate with external agencies, vendors and etc for print/production and quality control.
* To support the main designer with tasks they require to have complete
* Designing Perform research on competitors and market trends.
* Update and maintain online promotional campaigns with graphical designs.
* Meeting clients to discuss their needs.
support to Sales teams with creative design, images and brochures etc Working with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales.
* Must be willing to modify artwork and be open to new design concepts to meet others’ demands.
* Ability to imbibe good time management and work closely with clients executing project & meeting deadlines.
* Support in marketing collateral campaigns, production & office activities as needed. Work closely with Marketing Department to communicate the intended message through creative designs for clients .
* Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
Job Requirements
* Diploma or Degree in Art / Graphic Design / Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
* At least 1 year of working experience in advertising or related field is an advantage.
* Fresh Graduate welcome for Junior / Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
* Competent in Computer skills. The Graphic Designer must have the following software skills: Up-to-date with Excellent Photoshop, Illustrator/Freehand, Dreamweaver. Some Flash or capable of CSS & HTML implementation of your designs, good knowledge of MS Office operation, Excel and Outlook will be an advantage.
* Knowledge in production of color separation, printing to assist with high quality finished artwork.
* Analytical skills. Graphic designers must be able to look at their work from the point of view of their consumers and examine how the designs they develop will be perceived by the consumer to ensure they convey the client’s desired message.
* Artistic ability. Graphic designers must be able to create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing to clients and consumers. They produce rough illustrations of design ideas, either by hand sketching or by using a computer program.
* Communication skills. Graphic designers must communicate with clients, customers, and other designers to ensure that their designs accurately reflect the desired message and effectively express information.
* Creativity. Graphic designers must be able to think of new approaches to communicating ideas to consumers. They develop unique designs that convey a recognizable meaning on behalf of their clients.
* Time-management skills. Graphic designers often work on multiple projects at the same time, each with a different deadline. Aggressive and able to work independently to meet tight datelines and work quickly under pressure and manage multiple projects autonomously.
